Hello everyone, this is Airi. Have you had a great summer vacation?
I’ve been to Malta for 3 weeks this summer. Do you know Malta? It is the island country lies under the Sicily and I went to there to study English. Malta is as small as Awaji island (淡路島), so I could see around many places.
Now I’ll pick up a few places in Malta.
Valletta
Valletta is the capital city of Malta and the whole city is cultural heritage sight. I could see a lot of old buildings and modern shops and restaurants.
Mdina
Mdina is old capital city, so you can see a lot of old buildings there, too. And I think this is the best place, because there are a few people, few teenagers and especially beautiful rows of houses. In the evening, lamps are lit and it gets cooler, so I enjoyed soooo romantic scenery.
Blue Grotto (青の洞門)
This is popular tourist spot, and lies on the south of Malta. I have no idea how to explain here…so just look my picture, and you can find how beautiful place here.
I saw around there from the boat and I really like the color of seawater there. (€7)
Comino
Comino is the island near Malta. I went to there by small ship and it took me 1hour and half. I was relaxed there by floating on the sea and seeing the color of the seawater there, which was sky blue and high transparent.

ReplyDeleteYour blog allowed me to feel as if I were in Malta and I visited many places there. I have never been to foreign countries, so the scenes of Malta are very fascinating! Some day I want to visit Malta.
