Blog #1: My favorite restaurant

Hi everyone! I'm Asami.

Japan’s seasonal changes of weather (especially, strong wind!) moves to Summer, so I would like to introduce a restaurant which you can enjoy summer-seasonal foods.

The restaurant name is “kinharu”, and the restaurant is located near yoyogi-uehara station.
You can taste many varieties of Japanese foods such as; sashimi(raw fish), ten-pura (deep-fried vegetables), or an original dish which is made by famous Japanese cook. (He has worked famous Japanese restaurant for 30 years!).

I recommend “Aji no tataki with tomato”.
Aji is a proper noun in Japan, and it is called a horse mackerel in English. This meal is made by Japanese original method of cooking - such as tataki! Tataki mean's "finely chopped" -so this food is finely chopped raw horse mackerel with tomato! Both aji and tomato are seasonal foods in Japan now so foods are very fresh. It is so delicious! However I’m sorry, there is no picture of it so you should check how it is.

Another valuable advantage is “the art of culinary creation”. Maybe you have tried so many kinds of Japanese meals already, but in this restaurant, you can enjoy meals “to see” foods(see example picture below!). I'm so sorry about that I didn't explain what the meaning of "to see" is. All meals in kinharu arrange on dishes so beautifully. Also plates are very stylish, so these things makes me hungry and want to eat them.

This is an access-map of kinharu.(Sorry, there is no English map)
(about 6 min. from shinjuku station)

And one more valuable information… I had worked for this restaurant for two years, so you will get discount if you go there with me!

Thank you so much for reading my post.
Have a great day!

(All pictures are approval to publish by kinharu.)

  1. I knew "Kinharu" from your article for the first time. The deep-fries food which is on the picture looks soooo delicious that it made my mouth water. Japanese food is my favorite food and the restaurant is not so far, so I want to go in the near future!

This restaurant is not famous because it is not like a "chain store", and it opened a year ago.
Anyway, if you want to go then I will talk to the owner(for discount!:D)

Thank you very much for commenting on my post!

And again, Thank you very much for fixing my grammar! I fixed it, and I added some information that you advised for me.

This restaurant opens for all time! I mean, they open from morning-time, cafe-time, lunchtime, and even bar-time. Whenever you want to visit, the restaurant is opening!

      Here is cost menu:

Morning- 500 yen for morning set (Daily Japanese-rice meal, green salad, egg omelet, and coffee)

Lunch-1,000 yen for lunch set (Daily Japanese meal, green salad, miso-soop, white rice, and deep-fried vegetables, and coffee )

Dinner- depends on your order - but each meal's costs are about 500 to 800 yen, so usually one person's charge is around 3,000 yen.

I look forward to seeing you in there!
