I like to go to the aquarium so much! I have been to Churaumi Aquarium
in Okinawa prefecture, Nagoya-kou Aquarium in Aichi prefecture, and Enoshima Aquarium
in Kanagawa prefecture. And this weekend, I went to Sunshine
aquarium in Ikebukuro city!
Sunshine aquarium opened October in 1978 and renewed in 2012 in
Ikebukuro, Tokyo. Although the floor area is very narrow compared with the
usual aquarium, there are plenty of impressive exhibitions, for example, exhibition
of ocean sun fish, penguins, sea-otters, sea lions and so on! Also, we can
enjoy not only fish but also pelican and Fennec fox there!
The concept of the aquarium is “an oasis of the sky”, because this
aquarium is placed on the roof floor of the sunshine city hall. Even though we
are in the city, we can enjoy seeing beautiful fish, and see animals.
I would like to talk about my best exhibition of this aquarium! There are lots of jellyfish
in the fish tank which looks like a tunnel and is lighted up wonderful blue. By
the way, Sunshine aquarium is the first aquarium that displayed jellyfish
tunnel! This is the picture of jellyfish!

I haven't been to aquariums for ages, but I wanted to go there! the picture of jellyfish is really fantastic! It relaxes me.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, did you watch the show of whale sharks at Churaumi Aquarium? I have watched it once and I remember being surprised at the enormous size of the whale sharks' mouth. I want to watch it again!

I really love to go to the aquariums, and I love ikebukuro SunShine aquariums so I want to know more about it. You are recommending the jellyfish display, but is it the special display and now is it over to showing? I want to see the same exhibition!

Wow! I know that the aquarium has changed, but I didn't know there is fish tunnel. To feel cool, going to there will good especially in the summer. Every day I use Ikebukuro to change my train, so I should go there♪
